Synthetic Camisole |

Many kinds of clothes are made of nylon and spandex. Nylon is often used as the primary material for many clothes as well as for a basic camisole for a few reasons. Nylon is a synthetic fiber that is manufactured in a great variety of colors (gold, silver, metallic pink, etc.), textures, and patterns. Then nylon is an extremely durable material, which won’t tear during wearing long. For example, nylon is used for seatbelts and tire cords in cars and ballistic cloth in the military. Besides being a rough material, nylon benefits by its stretching properties. So it is very often used by dancers. Sometimes spandex is added to nylon for a maximum stretch, but on its own nylon can be manufactured stretchy. In addition, nylon is very easy to take care of. A basic camisole made of nylon can be washed in warm water with detergent together with similar colors. As far as mold, insects, and chemicals, nylon is highly resistant to all of those, making it last longer than other fabrics. One more well known fabric is spandex, which is a very durable fiber, but it is most famous for its incredible elasticity. Spandex can stretch 100% of its original length, which makes it a popular addition to dance fabrics, where stretch is important for body movement. A dancing camisole is usually hips-long with thin shoulder straps and support bra (for example, Fleur’t Basic Lulu Lace, Shelf bra, Strap camisole, etc.). These clothes are very stylish and unique as it is known. This basic camisole is not hard to put on and also easy to hide when needed under the clothes. A basic camisole has a long history and takes its roots from the Ancient Greece, where its predecessor, chiton, was worn by young and old. So, technically, the present-day camisole is approximately some two and a half thousand years old. |
